Careers Radiation Therapy at University of Otago Wellington campus. BA
  Please note the changes to admission for Radiation Therapy for 2025: 1.The removal of the requirement to be taking an English-rich subject in NCEA level 3 and 2. A reduction in the number of NCEA Level 3 credits required in Maths (Mathematics, Statistics or Calculus) and Physics or Biology from 16 to 14 credits. Also note there is a zoom information session on Weds 24th July, see Otago website for detail or email Mrs Bailey for the link.

  Due to the PPTCs p5 and 6 on Thursday and the following Tuesday are shortened

Thursday week 1 and Tuesday week 2
Lunch first bell 1:20pm
P5 starts 1:25pm with bell
P5 bell ends 2:10pm
P6. Bell ends 3:00pm
School finishes 3:00pm shortened last two periods

 
 
Secondary (Yr 7-13) Ben MacGregor speaking in the Grange MO
  Next Monday 29th July the Whakaora team have invited Ben MacGregor to come and minister at Lunchtime in the Grange

If you came to Easter camp you will have heard Ben's passion and love for Jesus as a Keynote speaker

There will be some Worship at the start and then Ben will speak with some ministry at the end.

Make sure you come early so that you dont miss out on a seat once the Grange is full we can not allow any more people in.

  Kia Ora everyone, I wanted to share a Māori word each week to increase students Te Reo Māori, an easy word that we can use daily.
Whare - House 
In honour of the house korfball tournament this week, the kupu of the wiki is whare, house in Te Reo Māori.

  Alana, from University of Canterbury, will be in the library classroom Thursday 25th July at lunchtime, to give a talk on how to apply for scholarships. First 30 students get a seat.

Senior College (Yr 11-13) Year 12 girls BA
  If you are studying Physics and Maths calculus in Year 12 at school you may be interested in the Women in Engineering Residential Programme 12 to 16 January 2025. It is a free programme and applications have opened. They close on 28 August and only 60 Year 12 girls from across NZ will be included. Past Middleton students who got onto the programme loved it.
