Year 10s: Your work experience day is Tuesday 12th November. Please talk to your parents about where you can go on that day. It would be good to shadow a parent, ask a family friend or relative if you can work for them or contact your local vet/cafe owner or builder for a day's work experience. Try and follow your interests. There will be rewards for the students who send in photos of their work experience day when we have Careers Day the following day.

Year 12s and 13s: There are a few application deadlines coming up: 31st Oct is the diploma of Animal Management and Animal Technology, Broadcasting applications are processed in the order they are received, Bachelor of Music has audition dates on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Dec so apply now, 1 Nov is NZ Diploma in Enrolled Nursing and 4 Nov is bachelor of Nursing March intake.

Year 13s and 12s: If you would like to take a year out after leaving school to build your foundation in God, prepare for and go on a short term mission trip to a country in Asia and then reflect on your next steps, please look at headspace.nz as the website will give you all the details. NZQA Exam Y12 and 13 Assembly Wednesday |

All Year 12 and 13 students there is an NZQA Exam assembly Period 1 on Wednesday 30th October in Gym 2. Year 13 pay particular attention since this isnt normally a teaching period but it has to be period 1 so year 13 students involved with running tribute have time to setup during period 2.

Year 13s: University of Canterbury is reminding future students to complete their applications to enrol for 2025 by 13th December via myUC. B Fine Art, B Music Performance and B Teaching and Learning have different application requirements and earlier deadlines, please check the website. If you need help with first year course selection, please book an appointment with a Future Student Adviser.

All year 11 students there is an NZQA exam assembly in the Theatre period 2 Wednesday 30th October. At the end of Wednesday period 1 please move directly to the Grange Theatre.
